51st PARENTS DAY CELEBRATION
The Parents’ Day celebration of our school was held on 31st August 2024 at OAT with great enthusiasm and excitement. The event, which marks a significant milestone of the school that brought together students, parents, teachers, and esteemed guests for an evening of celebration and reflection on the year’s achievements. The program started with a prayer song , welcome speech and was followed by introducing the chief guest.
The Chief Guest, Mr.L.MADHUBALAN, IAS commissioner Thoothukudi corporation, delivered an inspiring speech, commending the school for its commitment to holistic education and encouraging students to continue pursuing their dreams with determination and integrity. The chief guest was honoured with the memento .One of the key highlights of the Parents’ Day was the prize distribution ceremony, where students were honoured for their academic excellence, sports achievements, and contributions to various school activities. The Chief Guest distributed the awards, congratulating the students on their hard work and encouraging them to strive for greater heights.
The highlight of the evening was the vibrant cultural program, which showcased the diverse talents of the students. The welcome song was a musical treat for the audience .
The performances included classical dance in which students presented the traditional dance form Bharatanatyam and Odissi.
The kids play was a poetic recreation of a magical world that took everyone to the fantasy world.
The girls dance was highlighted with a concept of saving nature in which students showcased their mesmerizing performance .
The English play reflected the unchecked curiosity and disobedience can be dangerous, but love and hope remains that the performance was emotional and resonated deeply with the audience.
The old song dance was a nostalgic performance that took the audience to their childhood memories and also filled the positive and motivating message.
The Tamil play was staged, depicting the sacrifices and efforts parents make for their children’s happiness and success.
The vote of thanks Was a closing remark that thanked the students, parents, and staff for their tireless efforts in making the event a success, followed by the western dance in which the dancers exhibited incredible stamina and synchronization, bringing the audience to their feet with applause.
The annual report provided a detailed account of the academic and extracurricular activities, achievements, and overall progress of the school during the academic year 2023-2024. It reflected the commitment of the school that provided a quality education and fostering holistic development for all students.
The Parents’ Day celebration concluded with the national anthem. The event was a true reflection of the school’s spirit and unity, leaving everyone with fond memories and a sense of pride.
