50th Parents Day Celebration

The 50 th Parents’ day celebration of SPIC Nagar Hr. Sec. School was held on 26th August 2023 at 6:30 pm in Rajagopalan Kalaiarangam , SPIC Nagar in a grand manner. 

Thiru.C.Ajay Srinivasan District Revenue officer presided over the function. 

Our School President Mr.E.Balu, School Secretary Mr.T.S.Premsundar, , Headmaster Mr.L.Babu Radhakrishnan, and the executive heads of various departments of SPIC AND GFL graced the function. 

The programme commenced with the prayer song. It was followed by the presentation of the Annual report. It highlighted the achievements of the school in the past session.Miss. Sadhana of Std XI rendered a cordial welcome to the gathering. Miss.ELFA CHRISTY of Std XII introduced the chief guest. The Chief Guest distributed the prizes and certificates to the winners of the various competitions and awarded the students who excelled in education.The teachers were honoured with an excellence award by our school president Mr.E.BALU. He also delivered a thought provoking speech filled with the valuable ideas. 

The evening was filled with mosaic of events. It began with the welcome song”BIBLILICIOUS WELCOME”. “PASUMAI NIRAITHA NINAYUGAL” has revealed the development of 50 years. It showcased an extra ordinary performance.

They won a big round of applause. The Tamil play” ULAGAM UN KAIYIL ” received great applause from the audience. ” NATHIAYA SUPURSHA” The elegant Natyanjalis of SPIC School gave a fantabulous fusion of Bharathanatiyam,kuchipudi and kathakali. which expressed the beauty of our tradition. They stolen the hearts of the audience. 

“BEAT BLASTERS”-the western dance performed by the students with exuberant rhythm. 

The English play” CRYPTIC ZEST” was really a visual treat to the audience. It clearly depicted that the Sharing is the real happiness” 

“SWEET SYNERGY” dance thrilled the audience. Their exuberant dance steps, style and grandeur was much enjoyed by the audience.It was followed by the girls dance “GROOVING CREWS”.

Miss.Subiksha of STD: X proposed the “Vote of thanks” and the programme came to an end with the National Anthem.
