The SPIC Management and SPIC Nagar Hr.Sec.School mutually celebrated 77th Independence day in the SPIC school ground at 8:00 am.
Our honourable school president Shri.E.Balu ,our school secretary Mr.T.S.Premsundar, our Headmaster Mr.L.Babu Radhakrishnan, and the esteemed heads of various departments graced the function.
The chief guest of the celebration Shri.E.Balu unfurled the National flag and took the salute of honour. It was followed by the flag song and pledge.
Miss. Nithiya Aswini of std X1 invoked the shower of Lord’s blessings for peace and harmony through the “Prayer for the country.”
Miss.Suja of Std IX rendered a cordial welcome to the gathering and it was followed by various cultural programmes.
The opening dance was performed by our school natyanjalis and exhibited their passionate movements through Bharathanatiyam.
Miss.A.Josephine selcy mary of Std XI delivered a Tamil speech, her speech honoured the freedom fighters and brought out their love for our motherland.
An exhibit of a fantastic English drama about ISRO’s achievements depicted the dream of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam . It was followed by the Tamil play about a display of “Thillayadi Valliammai” incident that shown her patriotic spirit.
Miss. Siva Lakshmi of std XII portrayed the Tamil poetry on the topic “freedom fighters and our glorious mother land” .
The display of Integration song was performed by our school nightingales by igniting the spark of “Tricolor ballad” which captivated the audience heart .
Miss.Janani Nadaraja Priya of Std X delivered a speech and shared her views on the development of nation after Independence.It was followed by the mega dance symbolizes “Our state’s popular folk dance Kummiattam”.
Master Subbarayalu of Std X proposed the words of gratitude and the programme ended with the National anthem.
